Annie Keith, Assistant General Manager
Annie grew up in the small town of Elmore, Vermont surrounded by ever changing trees, roaming cows, horses and chickens. Annie developed a deep love for nature & animals early on and still travels home often to find a sense of calm from her busy hospitality career.
Annie knew during her first years of high school that she wanted to be in hospitality. She got an early and impressive start working at some of Vermont's most highly rated venues like Mountain Top Inn & Resort and The Lodge at Spruce Peak. Annie did it all from housekeeping to wedding planning, acquiring as much experience as she could before moving on. After high school, Annie moved to the East Coast where she graduated from Endicott College with a Bachelor degree in hospitality management and a Master degree in Business. While attending Endicott, she also studied abroad in both Ireland & Japan, gathering history and steps of service from different cultures that she would later incorporate into her own particular style of hospitality.
Annie was a Culinary Arts graduate assistant at La Chanterelle where she taught college students culinary skills as well as practical and transferable management skills for working in a kitchen. Her passion and background for teaching others how to navigate the hospitality industry was exactly why Ledger wanted Annie to join our team. At Ledger, she will use her love of food, wine and service to continue to develop and train our efficient team.
When not at Ledger, Annie can be found enjoying outdoor activities such as hiking and cross country skiing. She is also no stranger to wood burning, drawing and of course, cooking!
